The Minnesota Self Insurers Association (MSIA) was formed in 1971 to promote the interests of business and government units who are self- insured for workers compensation liability in the state of Minnesota.  This includes employers who carry a deductible of $250,000.00 or greater for workers compensation liability.  The Association focuses on issues that have special interest to self insurers and large deductible employers.

ARMA International is a not-for-profit association serving more than 10,000 information management professionals in the United States, Canada, and over 30 other nations.   The Twin Cities Chapter of ARMA has over 250 members and includes, practitioners, educators, consultants, and vendors from a diverse variety of industries such as banking, insurance, utility, legal, healthcare, manufacturing and retail. Our goal is to promote and enhance the professionalism of Records and Information Management (RIM) through educational programs, technical publications, legislative and industry committees, local and international conferences, and career advancement opportunities.

The CPCU Society is a community of credentialed property and casualty insurance professionals who promote excellence through ethical behavior and continuing education.  The Society's more than 26,000 members hold the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation, which requires passing rigorous undergraduate- and graduate-level examinations, meeting experience requirements, and agreeing to be bound by a strict code of professional ethics.   Founded in 1944, the CPCU Society's mission is to "meet the career development needs of a diverse membership of professionals who have earned the CPCU designation, so that they may serve others in a competent and ethical manner." The Society offers tremendous careers. It also works hard to spread the message about the value of the CPCU designation to the industry and the public.
