Minnesota is Award Winning Chapter!
I am delighted to announce that the Minnesota RIMS Chapter has been selected as the winner of the Overall Chapter Excellence Award!
We also received awards for Outstanding Member Services and Advancing the Risk Management Profession. In addition, a Chapter of Distinction honor was awarded for the Chapter’s Programming efforts.
The Chapter Recognition Program annually recognizes outstanding chapter achievement. Awards are presented in four categories:
- Outstanding Chapter Programming
- Advancing the Risk Management Profession
- Outstanding Member Services
- Overall Chapter Excellence
The awards for Overall Chapter Excellence are presented to the chapters that perform best overall in the first three categories. Particular notice was given to our strategic planning, membership directory, newsletter, educational support efforts and solicitation of member feedback. These areas were all recognized as providing value to our Members and are an important factor to our long-term success.
A special thank-you and congratulations to Committees and Board Members who have worked diligently to continuously improve the Chapter and provide value to our Members.
