"Tips for Reducing Risks in Responding to a Claim
(In the Age of Electronic Recordkeeping)"
will be held on
Tuesday, February 16, 2010
from 2:30-5:00
The event will be held at the:
Elmer L. Anderson Library
University of Minnesota, Minneapolis campus
222 -21st Avenue South
Minneapolis, MN 55455
Join us at the ultimate venue for low-risk recordkeeping – the archival library and vaults at the University of Minnesota – for a presentation on how the proliferation of electronic recordkeeping and cyber communications has created increased risks for companies responding to private or government claims or investigations.
Speaker George Socha, a leading consultant, writer, and speaker on electronic discovery issues, will lead a discussion on what companies need to be aware of when deciding what information to store and share electronically and what risks and exposure a company responding to a claim may face if it has not maintained control over where and how its data is stored and communicated.
Refreshments and tours of the library’s archive caverns will be available following the program.
Parking information is available at: http://andersen.lib.umn.edu/documents/AndersenParking.pdf
